As someone who's worked in the wedding world for over a decade, I've gotten to know so many wonderful people, but also the highly skilled, talented and committed professionals. If you need any reccomendations I will have plenty, from Bridal Shops (Rozie in Amersham) to Florists (Flora Collective) to planners (Always Andri) I have them. I have paid particular attention to those I have worked with and know their impact on the day and the stress levels of my couple. I'll be frank, honest and supportive.

I do recommend hiring a planner or organiser to alleviate any stress if you have a lot of moving parts in your life.

You’re planning a beautiful and monumental moment for the two of you; don’t allow stress to ruin it.

The "Getting to know you" Questionnaire:

A fun activity for you and your beloved to do to remember the reason why you're making this commitment. It'll only take 5 minutes, and everyone loves doing it.

The Big Wedding One

This one will take around 10-15minutes to get through and can be quite detailed, you'll receive access to this around 6 weeks before your celebration date.

Your Portraits

Your timeline will affect the photographs that’ll be captured, so if you’re looking for lots of wonderful portraiture, we’ll want to build some intentional time in for those moments. You always want to let and allow time for portraits to breathe rather than rush through them. For ideas of portrait styles, you can look at a Pinterest board I’ve built especially for my couples to see what they’re drawn to. Feel free to create your own board for photography as well, ahead of our final call, so we can discuss options through.

A self-described for camera-shy couples photographer, I believe in capturing candid, romantic and emotive photos; however, with a fashion and styling background, I love curating elevated ‘editorial’ style portraits if you’re drawn to them. This does mean allocating a nice amount of time to allow for composing and photographing these as well as location scouting pre-wedding celebrations. I recommend us doing one portrait session straight after your ceremony, post confetti so you're wrapped up in the bliss of the magic and allowing time for your guests to pootle along for drinks onwards. Then I love adding another session later one, during dinner time.

The Details

I love styling details, so the more time I have, the better. Things like earrings, rings, invitations, shoes, heirlooms, etc. If you’d like certain details laid out beautifully to be documented, having me arrive a little earlier will make this possible. Morning portraits when you're getting ready are always a bit of a rush, so leave more time than you think.

Group Photos

We love them! I love making timeless and enigmatic group photos. I will encourage laughter and joy, not just staged stoic ones. Typically, my couples aren't big fans of a never-ending list, so I always recommend a maximum of 5. You might need to or want to express this to anyone who might be hoping for more. But it ensures you don't get bored, facial fatigue, and then you can get back to enjoying the actual party. That said, you can always feel free to grab me for candid/non-formal groups throughout the day.

Tips From Sundari

Flow of the Day

We will work out all the timings in our Final Timeline Call, however if you work with the idea I will be with one partner around 1.5 hours before the ceremony to capture the final make up touches ups, stepping into the outfit etc. The standard 8 hour coverage is usually plenty of time to get the first dance and then I bop quietly off to rave the night away.

Camcorder

If you have me on video only, all I need to know is the map of the day, who your photographer is and any music you love (I'm usually paying attention to the vibe) but I also want to know what INSPIRES you. Wedding videos are so much more than the first dance song and overproduced drone shots. I want to call back to your heart and memories - let me into your hearts.

Printed Photos

After the wedding day in your gallery, you'll be able to order printed photos with a professional printer based in the UK. You simply click 'add to basket' and select from all the options available.

Books of Love

My soft twist on the wedding album. If the idea of lugging around a heavy book is not for you, consider opting for my A4-sized, soft-cover, beautifully printed photo book. Each page is on soft textured ivory paper and I design each individually with a passage or quote on the back. A much easier way to flip back through your photos easily. Printed in France, they can take upto 4-5 weeks to arrive. I typically design and order these in the quiet season. All you need to do is favourite around 100-150 photos in your gallery. £200.00 per book

Vintage Flip Photo Albums

These are my favourites. I have been sourcing flip photo albums from the 80s for weeks and have begun building up a beautiful collection of beautiful options. Each have different number of inserts available and varies in design, but they are the best, most gorgeous way of flipping back through memories. Most albums allow upto 200 printed photos. £200.00 per book(s)

Raw Footage

For my camcorder couples, if you've added raw footage to your package, these will be sent on a little wooden USB and converted into MP3 files ready for you to watch. Please forgive any videos of the floor, but you'll have over 5 hours of raw clips to watch if you want to look back through some uncut memories.
